Gerry Sagerman

Gerry Sagerman has over 20 years of experience in architectural security products and is a respected leader in bullet-resistant and impact-resistant solutions. He joined Insulgard Security Products in 2003 and serves as Director of Sales, guiding the development, testing, and certification of protective windows and doors. His expertise spans high-stakes environments, including projects requiring ICC 500 and FEMA 361 certifications for tornado and hurricane resistance. Throughout his career, Gerry has earned a reputation for his personalized approach and dedication to building strong client relationships.

In addition to his role at Insulgard, Gerry is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Storm Shelter Association (NSSA). His insights have been featured in US Glass Magazine and Performance Plastics Magazine, and he is a regular speaker at events such as AIA Arkansas, AIA Iowa, and NSSA annual conferences.

Gerry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from The College of Wooster. He lives just outside Cleveland, Ohio, with his wife, Stacey. They have three children. When he’s not educating architects on security products, he’s likely golfing or contemplating how to pay for those Ohio State and Ohio University college bills!
