Product Description

Insulgard’s SVT Transaction Window can be manufactured to help protect against Threat Level 1, 2 or 3 based on UL752 Ballistic Standards. Depending on the application, a single window may be used or multiple windows can be arranged together to create several workstations. This unit is certified in accordance with UL752 ballistic standards. Offers the same features as SV Transaction Window with a stainless steel 3-sided voice rail frame.

Construction

Window Construction

• Stainless steel voice tubes surround the vertical edges of bullet resistant glazing material.
• Glazing is affixed to voice tubes at the top and bottom with side separation for natural voice transmission.
• Vertical voice tubes are armored with bullet resistant material consistent with the threat level.
• Glazing is wrapped with stainless steel channels at top and bottom

Window Glazing

• Glazing materials can meet Threat Level 1, 2 or 3 per UL752 Ballistic Standards
• Bullet resistant protection levels are specified by the end user and consistent with the threat level.

• Base is armored with bullet resistant material consistent with the threat level.

Installation Details

Rough opening should be ½” wider and ¼” higher than the size of the unit ordered.

1. Cut a finished opening in the wall sized to accept the standard SVT Window.
2. Place preframed SVT Window in opening, shim as necessary and attach sides to existing wall with screws, using anchors if the wall is masonry.
3. Apply finish trim molding obtained locally, and installation is complete.
