Product Description

Insulgard’s SVPT Transaction Window can be manufactured help protect against threat Level 1, 2 or 3 based on UL752 Ballistic Standards. A single unit can be used in applications such as cash payment or reception windows. Multiple units can be grouped together to create several workstations for applications such as ticket sales. This model also features a bullet resistant package exchange unit which allows bulk items to be passed through without breaching security. Offers same features as SV Transaction Window with a package passer included.

Construction

Window Construction

• Stainless steel voice tubes surround the vertical edges of bullet resistant glazing material.
• Glazing is affixed to voice tubes at the top and bottom with side separation for natural voice transmission.
• Voice tubes are armored with bullet resistant material consistent with the threat level.
• Glazing is wrapped with anodized aluminum channels.

Window Glazing

• Glazing materials can meet Threat Level 1, 2 or 3 per UL752 Ballistic Standards
• Bullet resistant protection levels are specified by the end user and consistent with the threat level.

Installation Details

Rough opening should be ½” wider and ¼” higher than the size of the unit ordered.

1. Cut a finished opening in the wall sized to accept the standard SVPT Window.
2. Place preframed SVPT Window in opening, shim as necessary and attach sides to existing wall with screws, using anchors if the wall is masonry.
3. Apply finish trim molding obtained locally, and installation is complete.
